Fertilizer for Houseplants
Hydroponic Advantage

With hydroponics, complete, balanced nutrition is easy!

In fact, that's what hydroponics is all about - delivering nutrients directly to the plant without the growing media getting in the way.

Ordinary potting material breaks down and decompose over time. This alters the chemistry and blocks important elements that your plant needs for healthy growth. Exhausted growing media also traps unused nutrients that can be toxic to your plant.

Growing in soil you have no way of knowing what your plant is actually getting because your growing media is getting in the way.

Our hydroponic system replaces all those potting materials with a ceramic growing media called LECA (Lightweight Expanded Clay Aggregate).

LECA pebbles never breakdown or decompose.  They deliver the nutrient solution to the plant gently and evenly and don't change over time.

3 Ways Hydroponics is Better

1. Complete, Balanced Nutrition is Easy

To cut costs, most fertilizers skimp on nutrients and rely on the growing media to provide nutritional elements.

This is risky. Ordinary potting materials break down and decompose so there's no way of knowing what your plant is actually getting.

Hydroponic Advantage: Hydroponics doesn't rely on the potting mix for any nutritional value. That means hydroponic fertilizers have all 16 nutritional elements plants need, in a form they can use immediately. No complex chemistry involved.

2. Avoid Trapped Nutrient Syndrome

Exhausted potting materials also block many nutrients from getting to the plant. This not only robs your plant from getting what it needs - the unused nutrients turn to salt and eventually become harmful to the roots.

Hydroponic Advantage: In our system, the LECA pebbles replace soil. They're a sterile ceramic that will never compact or decompose. You'll never get "exhausted media" or "trapped nutrients syndrome".

3. Give Your Plants a Fresh Start

Over time impurities build up around the roots. This could be chemicals from your water source or unused nutrients.

Removing impurities from the grow pot is just as important as adding fertilizer.

Growing with soil, the only way to remove the impurities is to repot the plant and replace the soil with new. This disturbs the roots and can be time consuming (and expensive) if you have a lot of plants.

Hydroponic Advantage: Removing impurities at the roots is easy with hydroponics. Every couple of months simply take your plant to the sink  and leach the pebbles thoroughly. (You can use the garden hose for outdoor growing.)

A complete, balanced nutrition program is simple easy with our hydroponic system. You'll see the difference in a matter of weeks!
